It has a great location for the Dulles Airport. It has covered parking.

The first room assigned to us smelled like smoke. The second room has a more quiet location and was not smokey.

We liked the location of this hotel for convenience to airport, good restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The fitness center is above average. You can tell the hotel has undergone recent refurbishing. The fan was noisy in the room, but this is nice as it covers up hall noise. Beds and linens were comfortable. Bathroom is beautiful with glass tile accents on the walls and granite on the counters. The bartender at Houlihan's was very nice and loaned my two wine glasses (I had to wash them in my room because they were horribly spotted). The Crown plaza at Dulles airport was very clean and upscale and no cigarette smell when I entered the lobby! The front staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. I wished I could have stayed longer!

I arrived at the Crowne plaza at about 9 pm. It was late and other guests were busy going about their ways to their rooms. There were no out of place strangers wandering the grounds or inside. The other guests I saw were all professionals, either business or airline staff that were enjoying company in the restaurant or checking in. It was a nice hotel, but I would not consider it a Crowne Plaza hotel. It by far did not meet my expectations of what a Crowne Plaza hotel should be.
